THOMAS A. MOORE Orlando, Florida
Tom was born and raised in Orlando. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1975 and his Juris Doctorate in 1979 from The Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama. Upon graduation from law school, he joined the firm of Pitts, Eubanks, Hannah, Hilyard & Marsee, P.A. He became the managing partner of the Workers' Compensation Department in 1984. In 1986 he started the firm THOMAS A. MOORE, P.A. which has grown over the years and is known today as MOORE, PETERSON & ZEITLER, P.A.
He has been a member of the Florida bar since 1979 and a Board Certified Workers' Compensation Attorney since 1988. He possesses an AV rating, the highest rating given by Martindale-Hubbell and was inducted and recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer in 2006-2011. He is also a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Orange County Bar Association, and has served as chairperson of the Grievance Committee for The Florida Bar. Tom has developed an excellent reputation with the Judges throughout the state as being tough and honest.

MICHAEL L. PETERSON Biloxi, Mississippi
Mike received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in 1976 and his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College of Law in Jackson, Mississippi. A recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in federal tax litigation, Mike worked as a law clerk for the Mississippi Department of Mental Health, handling appellate and EEOC claims. Upon completion of law school, Mike worked for Shell Oil Company's legal department, handling offshore oil contracts in New Orleans, Louisiana. Later, he worked for Odeco Oil and Gas Company, handling negotiations and oil leases in Africa. In 1988 Mike moved to Orlando, joined the firm, and began his career in Workers’ Compensation. In 1991 Mike and Tom joined together to form MOORE & PETERSON, P.A.
Mike is a member of both The Florida Bar since 1987 and The Louisiana Bar since 1984. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Mike is also a member of the Workers' Compensation Section of The Florida Bar and The Defense Research Institute. He possesses an AV rating (the highest legal rating given attorneys) by Martindale-Hubbell and is designated a Preeminent Attorney.

DEBRAH L. ZEITLER Hollywood, Florida
Debrah received a B.S. in International Studies from Florida State University, with honors, and received her Juris Doctorate from the College of William and Mary School of Law, Williamsburg, Virginia. Debrah joined Moore & Peterson in 1994 and became a partner in 2000, at which time the firm became Moore, Peterson & Zeitler. She has worked extensively with clients throughout the State of Florida, establishing strong, trusting relationships. Debrah has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1994, the Workers' Compensation Section, Defense Research Institute and recognized by the Florida Bar as a Board Certified Lawyer in Workers’ Compensation.

NANCY A. BLASTIC East Chicago, Indiana
Nancy received a B.A. in History from Florida State University in 1985 and her Juris Doctorate from Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University in 1988. Nancy began her legal career with the firm in 1988. She practiced in Sarasota and South West Florida from 1991-1994. She then served as Corporate Counsel for PCA Solutions, Inc. until 1997, when she returned to the firm. Nancy is a member of the Florida and Georgia Bars and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, U.S. Court of Appeals - 11th Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She is a member of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Florida Bar.

KEVIN S. MURPHY Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Kevin received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Central Florida, with honors, and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida, with honors. He joined the firm in 1995. Kevin has practiced before Judges throughout the State of Florida and has extensive appellate experience through oral arguments before the First District Court of Appeal and The Florida Supreme Court. He is a member of The Florida Bar and the Workers' Compensation Section.

SCOT G. NIMMO Palo Alto, California
Scot graduated from the University of Florida with honors and a Bachelors of Science (Finance) in 1988. He went on to pursue a Juris Doctorate which was awarded by the University of Florida law school in 1990. After a brief period handling criminal matters, Scot began his workers’ compensation practice in 1993. Since then Scot has defended employers and carriers throughout the state of Florida and has tried more than fifty workers compensation cases. As a certified continuing education instructor Scot has lectured on a wide range of workers compensation, ethics and general liability topics. He is a member of the Florida Bar Workers Compensation Section, the Federal Middle District bar, and a certified AAA arbitrator.
